  • You may need a drop cloth if you are painting with younger children.
  • For this activity tempera is recommended for paints.
  • Paint is non-toxic but it is advised to keep away from the eyes and mouth.
  • Paint typically will wash out of clothing before it dries, but it could stain clothes.
  • Dress in paint clothes or use a smock/apron.
  • Use non-toxic paints, gels, glosses, etc.
  • If you are using a hot glue gun you may need parent support.
